Ronnie Goodman may well be San Francisco's most unexpected half-marathoner. This is the story of why he runs.
If you are inspired, please consider contributing to Ronnie's cause. He recently ran The Second Half of The SF Marathon to give back to the organization that helped him when he needed it most. hospitalityhouse.org/runronnierun.html
During Amsterdam Dance Event the 4DSOUND team invited Peter Kirn (CDM), Ableton, Liine and ourselves to realise an inspiring 2-day hack-session. Embedded within a larger programme at the Compagnietheater, 25 sound creators had the opportunity to explore the 4DSOUND system, work on spatial sound composing and finally perform their work. For 4DSOUND, FIBER created this video, which captures the teams creative processes, their ideas and the use of DIY controllers, modular synths and creative coding environments to explore new sonic modes. Pascal Purin was recently selected to compete in the 2015 RedBull X-Alps competition, dubbed "the world's toughest adventure race".
This video was not sponsored by RedBull or any other organization other than my own. We wanted to make a narrative-style Paragliding video without using a single GoPro shot that focused on the philosophy of a true pilot. I met Pascal long before I knew he wanted to do the X-Alps and we started the video before he was selected to participate. We were just a small group of people that wanted to make a beautiful film in our spare time.
