In this episode, Mike got a great opportunity to talk with Calvin Johnson, M.D. about over training. Dr. Johnson has over 20 years experience as an Orthopedic Surgeon and has worked with athletes ranging from high school to professional level. It was a great conversation on the symptoms and effects of over training, or under recovery, and some ideas to counter overtraining. Definitely a great listen if you are a coach or athlete. Dr. Johnson also introduced Nutri Build, from Nutrient Technology, who is one of our new sponsors for The Judo Podcast, and hinted at some impressive studies that have been done at the Human Performance Lab at Ball State University.
