In April 2012, snowboarder Aline Bock and freeskier Caja Schöpf went on a 10 days boat trip to the Lyngen Alps in north Norway, to escape the crowded skiresorts and to find some untouched powder. Enjoy the clip and see what they have been up to!
Aline: " I think I can say that my last trip to northern Norway was once in a lifetime. What made the trip extraordinary and unique were the remote splitboard tours and the long hikes from our swimming hotel up to the top of high mountains, which had the most amazing view to the sea I have ever seen. The lines down to the ocean made me speechless, and the hike over the sandy beaches back “home” gave me the shivers.
"For 6 days in a row, we skinned up 1200 -1400 meters to have the most beautiful freeride runs down to the ocean. I can’t describe how incredible fascinating this was… several times we were speechless of the beauty and impressing nature. It was a very unique journey, I’ll never forget."

We are submerged in a dry swimming pool. A SEGA Mega Drive, Commodore 64, floppy disk drives and hard drives sing in unison. The unusual ensemble (controlled live via MIDI) are given a last curtain call in a nostalgic farewell to forgotten friends.

"I asked Julian Corrie to compose and perform a piece of bespoke music for antiquated hardware that I had turned into instruments then rigged together via MIDI."
