This is the first trailer that I edited for Panic Button and it was quite a challenge because we didn't have a rough cut at that stage to work from. So I had to go through a lot of footage and work out which takes and lines had usable sound and that I felt were most likely to be used in the finished film.
We used this trailer to secure our sales agent, who in turn took it to Cannes where he used it to obtain a number of offers from distributors around the world.
This is second trailer that I edited for Panic Button. As the film was being released around the world on DVD we wanted to put another trailer out that showed another side to the film, focusing more on the psychological thriller aspects. We'd also received some very positive reviews from reputable sources and wanted to showcase them up front in the trailer!
This is a short teaser trailer that I put together for Panic Button whilst working on trailer #1. We never really intended to release a teaser trailer, but on reflection we quite liked it and decided to put it on the DVD special features and on YouTube.
This is a short that I edited and helped produce for Movie Mogul Ltd, prior to us making Panic Button. The intentions for it were two-fold - it gave us as a production team a chance to work together before tackling the full feature and it gave us something to show potential investors that illustrated the tone and themes that we were aiming to tackle with Panic Button.
We didn't have much time to make it prior to pitching to investors and it came out a little differently than we had planned, but it helped a great deal with the investors who got what we were aiming for straight away. A number of them went on to invest in the final film.
