1. A Japanese influenced meditative improv performed by National Hammered Dulcimer Champion Joshua Messick (http://www.joshuamessick.com) and acclaimed cellist Max Dyer (http://www.maxdyer.com).

Here is an inspirational story: I first heard Max Dyer (cellist) play on Michael W. Smith's "Freedom" album when I was about 14. Here is the track which is stunningly beautiful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTPWYCmczGc

After listening and being moved by the beauty, I prayed, "God, if I could ever play with a cellist that good one day, I sure would appreciate it."

Max and I met in a studio several years later. I was blown away by his playing, but had no idea he was THE cellist on "Freedom" until he saw the album on the engineer's mixing board table. He asked me, "have you ever heard that album? I did the cello on that."

Who would have known we would be making a duet album and make this video 13 years later?

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart."
