1. Well, the idea behind this video was simple. The project was to take still photos from random events and make a video out of it, as long as it made sense. The video had to be at least 90 seconds and no longer than 3 minutes. I had some still pics from two events that I went to one day, that I took for this assignment. Some were from an Adidas tent sale and another set came from an Art Craft and Wine show. I did somewhat of a parody video, in a sense, because I intentionally made it cheesy with the radio/tv voice you hear on commercials. It was also a serious commercial, in another sense, because the way the Ice Age Beverages section was edited could actually be used as a commercial for marketing. If it were an actual commercial I would approach it much differently but this was simply a challenge project. Either way, it was a fun experience and more of another learning process!

  2. Was given 7 minutes of footage from NISSAN of a 350Z driving through the streets of Prague, Czech Republic. The footage was beautiful because of the landscape of Prague and the sexiness of the 350Z but the footage was boring because it was literally just the car driving through the streets. They used 14 cameras to shoot the footage and the streets were closed off, for the most part.

The goal was to get the footage down to 2 minutes, make it seem like the car was going faster and add some music that would be appropriate for the type of edit done. They wanted the footage to have at least 20 edits/cuts from what they originally shot. I did 163 edits/cuts and timed the edits with the beat of the music. Check it out...
