1. Belgrado
    "Visions of Massacre"
    Belgrado

Belgrado was born during the Barcelona squatting scene in late 2010. Their energetic post-punk music is heavily influenced by the 80's post-punk, cold wave, goth rock, anarch, and their D.I.Y. ethics. Belgrado mixes catchy melodies, with punk attitude, and danceable beats.

Obviously I don't cut to the music since I'm only cutting with footage from a single camera.

  3. Live Not on Evil
    "Coming Back to Life"
    When Everything Goes Down
    Creep Records
    Live at the Bathaus 11/17/12

Live Not on Evil is a dark, guitar-heavy organization whose haunting yet melodic punk is often compared to everything from early Misfits, to Christian Death, and The Damned. The band played its first show at The Upstage in Philadelphia, PA on December 10th, 1999, since which time they’ve shared bills with underground greats like Foetus, Trance to the Sun, Penis Flytrap and the Dead Kennedys. The name “Live Not on Evil” is a palindrome, meaning that it can be read both left-to-right and in reverse.

Since the release of their 2001 debut CD, “Lucky Stiff,” the band has landed rave reviews throughout the underground press as well as radio and online airplay around the world. Founding members Rob Winfelder and John Begley continued performing and promoting the band through various lineup changes until arriving at the permanent additions of Norm Alger on guitar, Eric Sauls on drums, and most recently Kevin Person on bass.

The band released a long-awaited follow-up CD, “Next Time Nail it Shut” through SINister Records in the Fall of 2004. Their new album "When Everything Comes Down" will be released on Creep Records in 2012.

Deathrock fans will recognize Live Not on Evil from their performance at 2004’s and 2005’s annual “Drop Dead Festival” in NYC, alongside such artists as The Empire Hideous, Bella Morte and The Brides.

  4. The Spiritual Bat
    "Chance"
    Album: Cruel Machine

The Spiritual Bat is a deathrock band from Italy, and put on perhaps one of the most passionate live performances I've seen in a long time. The duo consist of Dario Passamonti (playing the guitar) and Rosetta Garrì (on vocals).

This video was taken at a local Philadelphia venue "The Bathaus," and it was edited together with footage shot from one camera. Audio was recorded from the Tascam DR-100's onboard microphone, and the audio was cleaned up in post.
