The timelapse movie of the night sky at Tekapo in New Zealand known as “the most beautiful starlit sky in the world” is created by putting high-resolution photographs by a digital single-lens reflex together into time lapse technique.
The south island with untouched nature in New Zealand.
We have moved north from Queens Town in the south to Mount John University Observatory at Tekapo for filming Tekapo known as the most beautiful starlit sky in the world for 6 days.
The numbers of photographs were about 100,000 and volume of data was 1.4TB during the shooting. The huge number of pictures and volume of data were needed because we challenged to make the movie by using technique called time lapse.
Please enjoy “The Best Starlit Sky In The World” that was shot with this unique technique.
