Dar Es Salaam welcomes Don Bosco: the brass band plays the tunes of songs to Don Bosco to which everyone is dancing around the Relic. In the evening, the police, with the loud siren, accompanies the Relic to Don Bosco Tech Oysterbay, where a huge crowd together with the auxiliary Bishop of Dar Es Salaam Eusebius Nzigilwa, many priests and religious are waiting.
On the following day 14th, the Relic is taken to the Cathedral of the city where the Cardinal Polycarp Pengo, his two auxiliaries, Eusebius Nzigilwa and Salutarius Libena, many priests, Salesians and non-Salesians, and a crowd of people are waiting. After the Solemn Mass in the Cathedral, the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Youth Centre Upanga. Finally the convoy carrying the Relic moves to Temeke, the Salesian Sister’s (FMA) Youth Centre.
The Relic of Don Bosco reaches Morogoro. The first stop is in one of the town parishes, Kwa Ndege, where the parish priest and a huge number of Christians welcome Don Bosco with singing and dancing.
After about an hour and a half, the Relic is taken to the St. Patrick’s Cathedral at the town centre, in solemn procession, directed by the local police and accompanied by many cars, motorbikes, buses carrying children and a brass band. After that, the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Novitiate and for the rest of the night the Novices spent the time in vigil around Don Bosco.
On the following day 13th, the Relic is taken in St. Monica Church where is celebrated a Mass. Finally the Relic leaves Morogoro and on the road it make a short stop-over at the house of the Sisters of the Mary Immaculate (SMI).
At Mafinga junction a huge crowd, from the parish, from different outstations and other parishes joins the convoy and leads Don Bosco in procession to Mafinga Parish, where the Bishop Tarcisius Ndalalagundwa is waiting to preside a Solemn Mass. After that, the Relic is taken to the Catechists’ Training Centre (CTC) Makalala where, together with the sisters and few people from around, the Salesians gather around Don Bosco in a beautiful moment of prayer. An hour later the Relic is taken to Don Bosco Seminary where a group of about 90 boys who come back to be with Don Bosco even though they were on holiday, have spent an hour with the Father and Friend of Youth in a moment of prayer and reflection.
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Dodoma and it’s taken to the K/Ndege parish where a beautiful welcome is given to Don Bosco by way of a prayer service amidst wonderful singing of the choir. After, the people accompany the Relic to "Don Bosco Seminary", singing and dancing along the road. Upon arrival the Relic was handed over to the Rector of the Institute. On 9th of December the Relic is taken in procession to Don Bosco Tech where is celebrated a Mass with wonderful singing and liturgical dances. Two bishop, the Bishop of Dodoma, Gervas, and the Bishop Emeritus Mathias Isujaas, and 20 priests, salesians and non-salesinans are present at the altar. Finally, the Relic is taken to the Convent of the SMI (Sisters of Mary Immaculate). On 10th of December the Convoy carrying the Relic of Don Bosco runs its 560 kilometer journey from Dodoma to Iringa.
The Relic of Don Bosco arrives in Moshi and it is taken directly to the Cathedral where there is a huge crowed together with the Bishop of Moshi waiting. Don Bosco is welcomed with lots of singing and dancing and is celebrated with a Mass.
After the Mass Don Bosco is brought to the Salesian Philosophate and a solemn Mass is celebrated.
