Paul Rand (born Peretz Rosenbaum, (August 15, 1914 — November 26, 1996) was an American graphic designer, best known for his corporate logo designs, including the logos for IBM, UPS, Enron, Westinghouse, ABC, and Steve Jobs’ NeXT. He was one of the originators of the Swiss Style of graphic design.

For my Typography I class, we were asked to create a motion piece on the life and work of a famous designer. I was assigned Paul Rand. Inspired by the clarity, simplicity and playfulness of his work, I focused on creating the feel of Paul Rand with simple, quick transitions, use of color and text.
