1. The Bible teaches us to “...owe no man anything but to love him.”You might have heard this scripture as it relates to debt. But, have you ever stopped to think about the second half of this sentence? It says that we owe others to love them. Let that sink in for a minute. That means that we owe our love to even the hardest to like people in our lives. Jesus loved everyone with a crazy kind of love.

  2. Sometimes it's really difficult to lose the guilt we feel when we're at fault and have hurt others deeply. Guilt isn't from God; it's from Satan. If you've done all that God outlined in His Word to receive forgiveness from Him, and to make things right with the people you have wronged, even if they are unable to find it their hearts to forgive you, you can still walk free from guilt and shame.

  3. When we take responsibility for our sin and the destruction it brings to our relationships, there's more to the process of making things right than merely confessing to God and the person we've wronged. The next step can be the hardest one of all--true repentance. Repentance is more than saying you're sorry—it's turning from the sin that caused the fracture in your relationship to begin with. Turn to God and away from your sin today.

  4. When we sin against another person, it's easy to take the path of least resistance, and just hide from the situation altogether. But that never solves anything. On top of that, we're often left with paralyzing guilt no matter how hard we try to pretend everything is fine. Don't sweep things under the rug. Learn the steps that God outlines in His Word to restore your fellowship with Him and others.

  5. Unlike what we see on TV or in the movies, there really is no reason for a Christian to be afraid to die. When we take the time to read what the Bible says, we see that the best is yet to come! Being temporarily separated from loved ones can be difficult for those we leave behind, but shedding this earthly body and entering into the presence of Jesus is one of the greatest things we’ll ever experience. There’s nothing to fear!
