Mark Knopfler moved more and more towards a 'Country' feel about his music and added pedal steel musician Paul Franklin to many of his tracks and you can hear him distinctly on this one. The trick is to not dominate the original track but try and enhance it and my accompaniment tries to complement the overall style and rhythm. My pinky and forefinger seem to be doing most of the work on this one along with a 'double pluck' of the plectrum for each note which keeps my right hand occupied!

The original track by The Bee Gees with an electric guitar accompaniment in the 'Disco' style to complement the very dry original 'chugging' guitar rhythm that runs right through the tune and that listeners sometimes don't realise its there!
