1. The community of Uig on the Isle of Lewis, part of the Outer Hebrides off the north west coast of Scotland, has been chosen as the preferred area to establish a St. Kilda visitor centre. The site chosen in Uig is near the village of Mangersta (Mangurstadh) with it's dramatic cliffs and open views onto the Atlantic Ocean.

This video forms part of the community proposal towards that aim for this exciting project for visitors to the Western Isles and those with an interest in the remote archipelago of St. Kilda.

Filmed and edited by Ged Yeates.
