1. When I started preparing for my first trip to NY, I wasn't aware of the impact this city would have on me and the way I would eventually photograph and film it. I thought about many photo projects and many ways to capture the New York light but it was only when I first walked the streets that I noticed I couldn't shake out that feeling of being in a movie.

Being both a photographer and a videographer, makes for quite an interesting combination of both inspiration and technique. Most of the times I have a conscious influence of my photography into my videos, but it was only when I first took my camera out in New York that I felt the opposite. Until now most of my street photography had been a quiet acquisition of street moments, passive portraits of urban backgrounds. New York triggered this new eye, this new attitude towards photography that I hadn't felt before.

I took it as a sign of inspiration and went about capturing still frames of an ongoing film. A film of discovery both of the city and of my own photography.

This video is a compilation of all those in-between moments...

  2. My greatest failure in life came when I lost the ability to believe in my own dreams. It had taken a year and a half to return to Yosemite after enduring one of my most heartbreaking experiences. In an unexpected twist of fate I regained the courage to try again after seeing the world through a child’s eyes. Since the release of the Silver & Light film we have accomplished more than we ever thought possible. We could have never made it this far without the support of people like you.

  3. I have been testing out the GH4 in Budapest and made this short film over the past few days. It’s a mix of 4K footage, hyperlapse and time-lapse. The high speed shot of the pigeons is shot at 1080 96fps.

  4. Over than 3500 km traveled in 20 days, capturing landscapes from the bluish tones of Pamukkale to the warm ones of Cappadocia, the all passing by a great variation of colors, lights and weathers through six other cities.
I've crossed Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Istanbul, Konya; and tasted baklava, kunefe, doner, the turkish tea; and got the chance to meet the soul of Turkey, its people.. and got their smiles and their hospitality.
This is Turkey lived by me from north to south, and I hope you enjoy it :)
