Bujang Lapok memutuskan untuk mengembara dengan "melacur" ke Eropah--Paris, Praha, Barcelona, Milan--hingga ke Selandia Baru dan Bali untuk mencari tulang rusuk kirinya yang hilang di Malaysia).
A tale of "Bujang Lapok", a Malay-Malaysian man who fell in love with Soekarno and Indonesia. To Bujang Lapok, under the UMNO regime, being borned as a Malay in Malaysia is somewhat a "curse". Bujang Lapok decided to travel by "prostituting" himself to Europe--Paris, Prague, Barcelona, Milan--to New Zealand and Bali in finding his left rib which was lost in Malaysia.
Indonesian rockers and winners of the inaugural RØDE Rocks competition, Navicula, descended on LA in the last week of November alongside producers Alain Johannes, John Merchant and Francis Buckley and let loose at the infamous Record Plant studios.
RØDE Rockumentary winner Nuno Barbosa was there in the middle of the action, capturing every second alongside mentors Philip Bloom and Jason Wingrove. This is Nuno's rockumentary on Navicula's LA experience.

Frank Catalfumo is a 91 year old shoemaker and repairer in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He first opened the doors to F&C Shoes in 1945 and continues to work five days a week alongside his son Michael. If you're ever in the area, make sure to stop by the shop and listen to one of Frank's amazing stories about life in Brooklyn back in the day.
There is something beautiful about the baking process. The way flour feels in your hands or the sound of eggs cracking on the edge of a bowl. Baking is a gathering of interesting materials, a mixed medium art piece of sorts, that ends in a cake instead of a canvas.

We shot this with a Canon 5D and 7D with EF 50mm f1.4 USM and EF 24-105mm f4L IS. We edited in Final Cut Pro and colored in Color and FCP. We wrote out the titles and edited them in Photoshop.
