In December of 2012 I invested in a Kickstarter project called One Second Everyday. I fell in love with the idea of documenting my life by capturing second-long snippets and using the 1SE app to merge them into a compelling, personal movie. My goal was to document 2013 and then render the final video on January 1st, 2014. So here, ladies and gents, are my favorite 365 seconds of 2013!

Exactly a year ago today I decided for some crazy reason to record 1 second of video for every day in 2013.
Much to my relief not only am I still very much alive, i’ve also managed to keep this up over the course of an overwhelmingly amazing year. So if you have 6 or so minutes to spare i'd appreciate it if you took the time to watch; it's quite important to me for obvious reasons.
Most days I've tried to capture something cool and memorable, and as a result my year seems to have comprised mostly of travelling, eating, drinking, and spending time with beautiful friends and family - considering that this is pretty much all I care about in life I think i’ve done alright.
If i've tagged you it's likely that you're in this video some way or another, plus there's also the likelihood that you've been a net positive effect on my life. Thanks.
Finally, though I hate to add to the wave of new year platitudes, i'm going to make sure that 2014 absolutely shits all over 2013, and I really would love it if you did the same.
I visited 25 countries, flew almost 100 times, celebrated my 3 year anniversary with my love, finally moved into a house, worked on film sets with amazing crews and talent, seen miracles, experienced loss, made many new friends, laughed, loved, cried, dreamed, and so much more.
This video is a compilation of my 2013. Each day is represented by one second of video. While many of the clips may seem boring or not mean anything to you, they accurately represent that specific day for me. As I look back at my seconds, I surprisingly can recap each day.
Each second chosen was definitely not the best second of the day, as I chose to experience those seconds rather than capture it. I don't regret my days, and am certainly blessed for the experiences and people God brought into my life this year. I know 2014 will be another grand adventure and I am excited to see my final 1 Second Everyday compilation of 2014.
