  4. Beata Szechy's installation at Obuda Pince Gallery, Budapest, is a story telling of her life. She comes to that point in her live when they question where she's been, where she presently is, and where she is going. The struggles for identity, the insights, and eventual finding the voices and thus becoming an exhibition. The installation like opening a book, like opening a door. It is like holding Szechy's past, present and her future in our hands..... “When the idea for this exhibition first came up, I really struggled with it. Now, I let my work speak for itself." The installation symmetrically composed. Includes photographs, video, sounds, aromas, candles and objects. The installation attempts to suggest that while we are cleaver enough to recognize the reality and truth, must be found the solutions.
(The exhibition is laying on the ground and not on the wall, have to walk by steps through the artist life)

+ More

The HMC is an artist run, non-profit, multi-disciplinary arts organization dedicated to excellence, experimentation, and education in all forms of contemporary art and culture. The AIR/HMC, Budapest mission is to bridge cultural, geographic, and linguistic divides by bringing people together through the arts in order to foster a greater understanding of world cultures.
The HMC opened in 1990 as an artistic, educational institution. We are invited more then 600 artists, writers, film makers who play an active part in the field of contemporary art. During the residency period, we hold exhibitions, through creative activities, presentations, workshops, and lectures by the artists.
While most of the arts programming—including the residency—takes place in Budapest, Hungary, the Dallas location continues to serve as the administrative hub, and host to exhibitions, film screenings, and offers a variety of other programming, in addition to the residency.
