Client: Joyce Meyer Ministries
Purpose: Ad airing in large dome venues around the USA during JMM Conferences. Ad to promote the 20% Off Joyce's Full Sized Books purchased at the conference.
Concept: A movie trailer that features action-type actors portraying Dave & Joyce Meyer, as if a creative team is pitching this concept to Dave and Joyce. The idea to drill home the 20% Off special deal, yet keep it fun and exciting.
Background: Joyce Meyer is a renown televangelist with a daily TV program with annual revenue near 120 million dollars a year. Additionally her ministry conducts three day conferences about every 6 weeks throughout the year in large venues like the STAPLES center in LA. Their conferences are free to attend, yet they cover their costs by selling "resources" or "product" like Christian books, and recorded teachings. At the conference they will broadcast "ads" to promote the resource. The creative team involved in this project was tasked with making an ad that would be fun and not "salesy" yet still clearly communicate the product "offer".
