I recently bought a manual Canon 50mm f1.4 FD lens to use with my Canon 500D, and found that the event being held at Brisbane for Buddha's birthday was a good excuse to go out and test it.
A video I made for my cousin AlBara Mujaddidi's wedding.
Saudi Arabia is one of the places in the world where men and women do not usually mingle at weddings.
This was the mens wedding, with traditional dances from around Saudi Arabia which were performed by the dancers, the guests tried to dance :)
I removed the original audio, except for the last part, and used a couple of songs performed by the famous Mohammad Abdu as a sound track.
All footage was taken using my Canon 500D and my 50mm f1.8 II, and edited by iMovie, no cropping or color correction.

This was taken on the 3rd of October 2009 on the way and at Coolum. footage was taken using a Panasonic TZ7/ZS3, except for the last part which was taken using a Canon 500D and a 55-200 lens.
Edited with iMovie, a little color correction, and some cropping here and there.
Somehow when it was exported it got a little choppy, I will probably export it again if it is still choppy when it is exported to Vimeo.
Using my Canon 500D with the stock 18-55mm lens. 12th of September 2009.
Camera was handheld in a crowd. Edited using iMovie. Not the best I can do, but I had to start somewhere :)
