1. A final project for my 3-D Animation class. In this piece, I try my hand at visualizing some 80s music genres in about a minute. Mixture of 3-d elements with 2-d elements, animated both in Cinema 4-D and After Effects.

  2. A weekly exercise for my Motion 2 class. Inspired by those old play sets that used flat paper waves that were rotated by motors to represent the ocean.

  3. Final project for my Motion 2 class. I wanted to experiment with character animation, and used paper dolls and a goth-Victorian style as my inspirations.

  4. this is my first motion project. i had fun taking the idea of a concept like the seven deadly sins (a nod to Kyle Cooper's film titles "Seven"), and twisting it to make it an upbeat and lush interpretation. My inspirations were set designs from old plays, abstract shapes (which were conspiculously used to personify the background for each sin. notice the sagging belly shapes for "Gluttony"), and gypsies.

  5. Each week in my Motion 2 class, we were assigned a quick 5 second exercise. This was based around a certain theme, this one being "something that would make you feel happy".
