1. Hey, it's our first real video! And as such, this is just an introduction to explain why we're expanding from just an audio podcast into making things for you to watch.

  2. This video was recorded back in the fall of 2010 when I bought the die-cast 1/350 scale Atragon submarine from the 1963 Japanese film "Kaitei Gunkan".

  3. We thought it would be fun to spend a little time introducing one of my co-hosts to the viewers. Meet Jeff - aside from a regular member of the Kaijucast crew and a Godzilla fan, Jeff was actually the reason I started the podcast.

  4. Howdy, Godzilla collectors! Ever wonder what the deal is with those expensive X-Plus figures and why the prices, sizing and origin vary so much? Well Jeff and Kyle are here to tell you a little bit about the company, various X-Plus items in Kyle's collection and we even dropped in on a well known collector, David Eric Dopko, to talk with him about his experiences with the company (seriously...check out his "Visions In Vinyl" article in Famous Monsters issue #256).

  5. One of the cool things about being a collector is displaying your collection. The Kaijucast HQ is essentially part movie screening room, part podcast studio and part Godzilla museum. Keith Foster of the band Big Pimp Jones was in Portland for a local comic convention and we decided that he should be out test subject. Unfortunately I had to split the video up into two parts, but major, massive and huge shoutouts go out to Martin Vavra of Galaxy Sailor Productions for filming the whole thing.
