A retired machinist, Robert quickly learned retirement life wasn't for him. "I needed a little extra income, and I didn't want to sit around the house," he says.

Born with arthrogryposis, Caltera walked into Goodwill for help learning job skills. Caltera mastered tasks including typing, answering the phone and assisting other clients.
Celeste had just gotten a divorce and was trying to support four kids when she applied for a job at Goodwill more than a decade ago. It was her first job, and she hasn’t looked back since.
