1. Public eye is a company who specializes in shootings with timelapse techniques, available for tv commercials, film, art videos and professional photography.

Costas Golemis (Media offline) and Fotis Traganoudakis (Public eye Studio), joined forces and the result is an excellent video with timelapse technology. Advancing the art of photography and knowing very well the art of editing and animation, they took a step forward, giving through their work an answer to those who claim that there is no hope for Greece. It took hours and thousands of photo frames, special equipment designed by the two of them and very careful and quality editing to create the final result. In difficult times for Greece, they are daring, and they are justified.

Music created specifically for this time-lapse was written by Tania Giannouli.
the video is already going around the world via the Internet at very fast pace. You will find it uploaded at

  2. I combined everyday soap bubbles with exotic ferrofluid liquid to create an eerie tale, using macro lenses and time lapse techniques. Black ferrofluid and dye race through bubble structures, drawn through by the invisible forces of capillary action and magnetism.

Time-lapse sequences: Nikon D90, Nikkor 60mm macro lens and custom built intervalometer.
Motion-control: Arduino driven scanner platform and mirror rigs
    Score: Ableton Live

I spent a week capturing one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years.

Shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degree north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures around -25 Celsius. Good fun.

    Available in Digital Cinema 4k.

  4. Two months ago we set out for a weeklong trip to Yosemite National Park. Inspired by Sheldon Neill, Colin Delehanty (Yosemite) and naturally Tom Lowe (TimeScapes), I got hold of a Stage Zero Timelapse Dolly so I could try to take a few time-lapse shots of the breathtaking landscape in the park. I soon discovered that one week is not nearly enough time for a meaningful project and therefore decided to make my time-lapse debut at home in the Ore Mountains in the Czech Republic, in the very heart of Europe.

Nearly every day for the entire summer I set off with my camera to the local mountains to try to capture moments that we don't ordinarily perceive as anything special, but which are in their very essence quite exceptional.

Thanks to this project, this summer was filled with the most meaningful experiences -- and I never had to leave my country. I discovered some beautiful spots I hadn't known before; I was often in the wilderness before the break of dawn, saw many animals in their natural habitat, witnessed stunning sunsets and fled looming storms with my equipment over my shoulders.

I didn't manage to capture everything as I would have wanted, but I came away with several good catches such as the swift approach of a mountain storm and a Perseid meteor shower from the comet Swift-Tuttle, which passes the Earth once every 130 years.

If you enjoy this video, please share it with your friends. I would also be grateful for your comments. Thank you.

  5. For this video, I pulled out every time lapse, stop motion and live action camera trick that I could think of. The goal was to create a fresh, new direction to take my work to.
