  1. Music video directed for the charismatic LA-born musician Charles X for his eagerly anticipated new single entitled Can You Do It in mixed 3D/2D animation produced by Eddy and animated at Brunch Studio.

This collaboration is intended to act as a social commentary which aims to cast light on perceived societal expectations and social norms by integrating elements and people from different walks of life.

I sought to merge the typically highbrow sport of horse racing with the commonly misrepresented “mean streets” of Pacoima, the proud birthplace of Charles X, to challenge any stereotypes or preconceptions of race and social class which may exist in modern day society.

I wanted to communicate Charles’ intended message via the lens of an artificial world in my own style of animation.

"Can You Do It" is now available on Charles X's new album, "Sounds of the Yesteryear":

  3. When the guys at Interscope and Blood Company approached us about doing a music video for Zedd’s Paper Cut, we knew it would be the perfect opportunity to try out an idea we had been toying with for a while: gathering a dream team of some of our favourite artists from around the world to create one cohesive film using a variety of styles.

After coming up with the storyline we put together a script, storyboard and animatic and then divided the shots between ourselves and 10 of our favourite collaborators, with the only guideline being to work in black and white with a hand drawn feel.

  4. To Build a Fire is a fully 2D animated short film made as a graduation project by Olivier Vanden Bussche at the RITS School of Arts in Brussels. It is based on a short story written by the famous writer Jack London more than 100 years ago and centers on a man who finds himself confronted with his own mortality and his inability to force Nature's hand, for which he has to pay a great price.

After touring the festivalcircuit for a year with multiple screenings at major festivals around the world the film has now been released online for a larger audience. Enjoy!
