  3. Video installation entitled: Journey to Ard al Amal (Land of Hope) for Impakt Festival's NO MORE WESTERNS exhibition 2012, at CBKU in Utrecht. This video is created from the anime series called "Future Boy Conan" or in Arabic, "Adnan and Leena". For this piece we selected only sweeping nature shots or panning nautical horizons and compiled the extracts to form one "ideal landscape", from morning to night. This installation investigates the manner is which cartoon images from childhood memory, Japanese manga and Walt Disney are appropriated by freedom fighters in Syria today.
