1. Tough to see since it is so far away but Anna does a great job rolling her ankles and using the edge of her ski to turn. She also does a great job with her hands. They are nice and still and in the right location. Anna could work on pulling her feet back underneath her and making sure they are not in front of her. Great skiing!

  2. Anna has great ankle angulation and edging on this run. You can see that her feet are out in front of her and she is a tad backseat. Anna needs to work on keeping her feet under her hips. She can think about this as if she were riding a reverse bike. Think about pedaling backwards after each turn and pulling those feet back under. On her hands, you can see that she plants on the top of the mogul and then turns around her hand. Anna needs to work on tapping the backside of the mogul and not having to turn around the hand.

  3. Great job with the direct skiing. You can see how direct Anna's turns are. I love the way she drives the tips of her skis down the backside of the mogul on each turn. Anna can work on her hands on this run - you can see that they are a bit wide and her pole planting is a bit heavy. She needs to bring her hands in a little closer to each other (shoulder-width apart) and needs to plant on the backside of the mogul (barely tapping the mogul). Her left hand is pretty good, it's the right hand that needs to do this the most.

  4. Another great run! Few things to note - the right hand is again coming out side to side and needs to be more still. You can see that Anna is a bit back seat and needs to bring her feet underneath her hips. If you pause the video at about :10, you can see what I mean. Her feet are out in front of her hips. Once we get into the steeper moguls, this will cause her to be very backseat and therefore more out of control and less direct. On the jump, you can see that Anna needs to get her hips up more on the takeoff. If you pause at :12, you can see they are a bit back. On the landing you can see that she is still in the spread (:13) and needs to bring the feet more together. Finally, on the landing, Anna needs to drive the hands more so that she can easier ski out of the jump. Great spread and great skiing on this run!

  5. Great 360! You can see that Anna's right hand is the reason she is not landing this jump. When she comes into the jump, her right arm is behind her on the takeoff. Once she is in the air it drops to below her side and therefore on the landing is still on her side and behind her. If this right hand were out in front of her, she would be completely balanced and able to land this jump. Think about hugging a beachball, riding a bike/handle bars or punching the right arm through on that landing!
