I love how aggressive Isabelle is in her skiing! On this run, you can see that she needs to work on making her hands quieter and not having them move as much. She should think about the lunch tray drill we do on the flats where we put our poles on top of our forearms and have to ski down without moving our upper body side-to-side and therefore not tipping the poles off. For the lower body - have Isabelle think about loosening up her legs and bending the knees more. She is a bit stiff, which is why she is not absorbing as much as she could be.

I filmed on Phantom to watch each athlete's thought process when there isn't a perfect line. I want to see Isabelle think quicker in terms of where to turn and keep her eyes 3 moguls in front of her so that when there isn't a turn in the right place, she can quickly throw one in there. At the top she has great absorption! Those big moguls are good for her! I also told her to make sure her hands are still. They have quite a lot of movement as you can see on the bottom few turns.

Isabelle is continuing the aggressive style of skiing that is so great! She has also improved on keeping her hands more still and in a wider position, where they should be. I want her to continue thinking about loosening up her legs and bending the knees more and absorbing the mogul. On the jump, she had a little bit of a wind up (you can see the right hand behind her). Make sure the takeoff is just like one of a spread eagle. Great run!

Great job with the hands again! As you can see, her right hand occasionally drifts out. Make sure to keep it in! For the jump, there is still a bit of a windup but better than the previous. Finally, as I told her in practice, ALWAYS ski 3 turns out of a jump when you are training! It's good practice! Another great run.

Better job with the absorption on the turns. Keep thinking absorption, absorption, absorption! As I often say, "let the moguls do the work!" For the jump, at the landing, Isabelle's left hand dropped. Make sure you keep it up and drive it towards the moguls so your body doesn't over rotate and make you keep spinning.
