1. On this run I had Riley to a drill where he held his poles underneath the grips to try and eliminate any movement in the upper body. As you can see, it is really helpful and his upper body looks great! Towards the end he gets a little out of control since his feet are slipping out in front of him but overall it's a great run.

  2. I filmed this run to see each athlete's thought process when skiing a run that doesn't have a perfect mogul line. This was good because it makes them look up 3 moguls ahead and make decisions early. For example, they have to throw in extra turns when there may not be a mogul. Riley does a good job with this. He gets out of control when his feet get out in front of them and he is backseat.

  3. On the skiing portion, Riley does a great job with his absorption. His hands are too wide and he needs to think about bringing them in and having them shoulder width apart. On the 360, his takeoff happens to early and is at a bit of a slant. He also drops his hand and it gets caught behind him which is part of the reason he gets off balance.

  4. Great absorption here! Lower body looks awesome. For the hands, remember to squeeze them in, shoulder width apart. On the jump - your feet are pinned together towards the top of the jump. If you pause, you can see what I mean. Get them apart and don't pin them together until in the air. You can also see that your hands drop. Keep them up and out in front of you and this won't get your body off axis. If you pause at :16 you can see that Riley's body is facing uphill but his eyes are looking to the landing. He needs to spot up hill at this point. Great job skiing out of it, that was clean.

  5. Much better on the jump. The takeoff was better and the spotting was better. Still think about holding your spot at 180 degrees a little longer. The left hand got a little caught up so remember to have it out in front of you. Great run!
