Some different views of Tempe, Arizona taken from Hayden Butte Preserve. Hayden Butte got it's name from Charles Trumbull Hayden - pioneer, trader, teamster, merchant, freighter, landowner and judge. He is often credited as being the founder of Tempe. The tall older white building in some of the shots is the remains of the Hayden Flour Mill. Sorry for the history lesson!!
