Maska is a movie about the quest of reality.
it was shown as a part of a performance. Entering a room lighted with one red bulb, one would see a sofa (turned with the back side to the viewer), on which two people would sit in unnaturally stiff positions, watching a monitor, in front of them, standing on a table. Another person would stand next to the sofa, facing the viewers. All three of them would wear abstract masks, with no opening for either eyes, mouth or nose.
This movie - Maska, would go on loop on the monitor.
3 is a an simultaneous projection of 3movies about religion, superstition, mythology, memories etc.
(movies: Fish, Wilk, Milk)
The movies where screened, in a cube like concrete room, in a way, that one would pass from one wall over the corner to another, the second movie would pass from the wall to the ground etc. In the same time they'd overlap each other forming a moving colorful pattern, in which the black wall would become significant as well.
the music is each time a specific component of every single film. At first one can hear a compact melody, but approaching the projectors and the a specific movie, one could hear the single melody belonging only to it scenes.
originally it was a installation, with two screens on the ground, one slightly closer to the fewer then the other. facing each other in 45 degrees, with an old double mattress in between.
As the installation was placed in the darkness, a light shimmering play of colors, emanating from the screens would appear on the mattress.
