  3. As hard as it already is compiling together Love Story videos, it's by far much much harder doing your own Love Story film. As some of you already know, Keri and I got married in September of 2012 and we had decided beforehand that we weren't going to do any films for our wedding as 1. We'll both be too busy with our own wedding, let alone shooting it 2. With our high expectations, we would blow our entire wedding budget to get the right person to shoot it. That is until a month before, after a friend's wedding when Keri had rehashed the idea of doing a Love Story, but this time it was an Engagement Story.

We had an amazing time doing this, but I think I've had an earful of my own voice to last a lifetime. I don't know how Keri does it.

  5. We started the day off early with Sasha and her bridesmaids at a local Acton, ON spa. Three of the guests, fresh off the plane from the London Olympics, our groom included. It's been a crazy month for the couple as Colin was away training and attending the Olympics for his second and final time. Leaving Sasha to finalize details on their wedding and coordinating a move to their new home in St. Catherines a week earlier. A tremendous amount of respect there as we've been planning our own wedding in less than a month and you think you know the work and stress involved, but no. You only find out how much more crazy it is when you're knee deep.

It was a beautiful rustic countryside wedding, with Sasha crafting alot of the DIY decor. I remember months back that the only thing that Colin wanted at the wedding, along with Sasha of course, was a roasted pig. Oh he got that pig, and boy was it delicious. So delicious that there was nothing left to include in this film.

As this wonderful couple closes one chapter and opens the next, we wish them all the best!
