Last year, we had a blast collaborating with our friends at MTV's World Design Studio in Milan on 'MTV At The Movies'. We were stoked when they rang us up a couple months ago seeking an explosive good time for their latest series of station IDs for MTV "Pulse," the network's block of rock music programming. We created five unique CG-integrated lifestyle scenes that ignite behind the idea that rock & roll is more than just music; it's a culture and a way of life. Walls explode and the ground erupts around a passionate kiss, the strum of a guitar, the beat of a drum, skateboarding and more. Check out the behind-the-scenes video to see just how we blow things up without, you know, blowing things up. That would be dangerous. And danger is not our middle name; it's Alan.
This is a graphics montage of the Ovation Channel rebrand. The goal was to create a focused brand, full of playful energy, that lives in a reductive, minimalist world. The package pulls inspiration from many places, but we specifically focused on modern museum and gallery spaces, which really let the content be the driving force.
