This is a neat hack if one has to paint objects onto a surface
without overlap. All you have to do is to misuse the awesome
Add Guides Tool which has an option for how far the single
guides have to be distant from each other. If you want to delete
guides, just use the Hair Selection Tools you saw in the video,
select the guides you want to get rid of and just hit delete.
In the screengrab you see just one application of many, try connecting
the Clones with a Tracer and therefore paint splines onto a surface!
Follow up on my c4d to optical flares tutorial explaining how I made the lights dynamic, plus some new techniques thanks for the questions. 00:44 using an emitter with deflectors and turbulence 12:54 using mograph and simulation tags for dynamics 27:30 using matrix object and inheritance effector 35:00 thoughts on how to use this with particular 35:50 using media encoder to render AE files.
I tried some of the new features and thought i record it for you guys! Im blown away to be honest! This is freaking awesome!
Object motion blur is working fine camera motion blur did work in the previous version already. Vertex motion blur is only for deforming objects (wich i did not show in this video but it works fine as well afaik)
Animating clones with effectors can not work out the way you would like it sometimes. Only being able to animated in the position, scale, and rotation attributes doesn't give you a whole lot of options most times. Being able to animate an object as you would normally do, being able to clone that animated object, and then offset the animation can give you more control in some ways rather then just animating with effectors.
