This years design festival will take place from 18 — 23 March 2013 at the HfG Offenbach.
Once a year, during the lecture-free period of the HfG University of Art and Design Offenbach the dormant parts of the university are transformed into a student-organised workspace. The festival includes workshops, lectures, symposia, exhibitions.
For one week aspiring design students will be able to attend six different workshops, each led by an internationally acclaimed designer. To promote the idea of education as common property, the whole event will be free-of-charge and open to the public.

After School Club is a one-week graphic-design festival in April 2012. Alongside workshops with internationally known designers, the club hosts talks, symposiums and more. Everything will be located in the classrooms which are not used during the semester break. The festival is free of charge.
A continuous workflow and a constant reflection on design is essential for developing your own personality. Working on concepts and their realization in groups, intensive research as well as meeting other creatives is the main focus during the festival. We think this experience is important and forward-looking and therefore want to incorporate and share it with others. In this way the After School Club functions as a free platform for encouragement and motivation of collaborative working. Once a year we occupy our university and transform it into a student-organised working space. In an overall count of six workshops lead by renowned designers you have the possibility to build up your networks with other students and stay in contact beyond the festival. Join in!
