No one knows more about making spirits bright in the 4th quarter than Santa and Sears. In this cheery television spot, Sears re-establishes their Iconic holiday dominance with an appearance by jolly ol' Saint Nick. The production design crew arrived at 2:30PM to create a winter wonderland in time for our 10:00PM shoot. Nice touches by the graphic designer (Santa’s List) and the CG effect snow made the rest of the magic happen. We shot over night and wrapped in time for the sun to come up and the store to open for business.
Completed in July 2012, this is the first live-action commercial produced for the new Deuces and the Diamond Club, located approximately one block from Wrigley Field in Chicago. It was shot over two days & evenings using a Canon 5D Mark III and a Panasonic AF100.
Opal capitalized on the 2012 Olympic Games by creating some new events for their business. By exaggerating their product knowledge, punctuality and quick customer service, the Opal staff engages with their local customer base in a fun and entertaining way. If success is measured by “hey, I saw you on TV!”, then this one is a smash!
