In my project Time, I worked filming
the gallery space, filming the time of bringing down the recent exhibition. That became the
construction of the upcoming exhibition Time. As the natural rite of the gallery space became the
construction of the next exhibition.
The video time, is a video slowly working its ways through the gallery is spaces. The film is a fragment of what was, and the viewer is placed in what we in time call present in the same space. The video tries to smudge the two spaces into an action that is happening at the same duration of time. Time is inspired by idelogies on time from the Wheeler-DeWitt equation.
”Time seems to live in what physicists have dubbed "superspace," a sort of mathematical ensemble of all possible universes, ones that live only five minutes before collapsing into black holes and ones full of red stars that live forever, ones full of life and ones that are empty deserts, ones in which the constants of nature and perhaps even the number of dimensions are different from our own.”
