A play by the West Vancouver Secondary School Theatre Company.Written in 1743 by the master of Italian comedy,Carlo Goldoni, this piece of slapstick foolery hasn't lost an ounce of freshness. Twins separated at birth (played by one actor) turn up in Verona, one for an arranged marriage and the other to meet a girl who has run away from her family for him. They are mistaken for each other and the resulting chaos includes duels, betrayals, spats, arrests, a casket of stolen jewels, and a death.
A play written by the 2002-03 West Vancouver Secondary School Theatre Company, performed by the 2012-13 WVSS Theatre Company. Months of work, two dress rehearsals and four performances later, the actors and crew are having a well deserved break.
DVD's from this performance are available upon request from Ms. Judith Hogan.
