This short tries to capture Southern California Institute of Architecture's annual September graduation and thesis show. It was shot over a three day event. The original music is done by a friend of a friend Aaron Spectre. Please support him here. drumcorpsmassive.com/
The event features a variety of internationally respected architects including SCI-Arc's Director Eric Owen Moss, Thom Mayne, Neil Denari, Hsinming Fung, Hernan Diaz Alonso, Silvia Lavin, and Jeffrey Kipnis among others.
The time lapse shots where made with a ND filter and a remote timer. The movement was done in After Effects. I used a Canon 550D for the footage with a collection of lenses.
A special thank you to Karim Attoui.
Congratulations to the SCI-Arc class of 2011
