  2. Most of these clips were made on or near Hwy395 in the California desert. Some in southern Arizona.Look for incline shots in the Alabama Hills near Mt. Whitney. I'll post some pics of rigs I used when I get a chance. Railroad time lapse gets lots of interest.
Intro music is by me and main track is by Dj Scott Stubbs. Some of these clips are long or hyperlapse which is catching on. Here's a clip of the railroad track dolly I used:

i also used the Camtrac dolly seen here: thecamtrac.com/Camtrac/

  3. Some moving real world images from the 1908 Wollensak Cine-Velostigmat f5 lens.

This is a mix of natural lighting, cine style lighting, hand held, the Kessler Pocket dolley and tripod work. Much of this was shot to see what this lens can do in real conditions, and where its strengths and weaknesses are. What it adds, what it loses is in my opinion what makes this glass unique. This motion test is a precursor to an upcoming film project. enjoy....

Special thanks to Kessler for proving equipment support, Bhavani lee for being an amazing performer, Thomas wong for editing the hell out of this, and to Khalid Mohtaseb for providing me with additional equipment.

  5. **To all those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish for the safety of you all.**

Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This is my Japan. This is one of the many reasons why I love Japan. I shot this in many locations around Japan in the summer of 2009. Some of the location include Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Ishizushisan.

I started this as a personal project to try and capture the beauty that I see in Japan. It started as just that...

But now that I have finished, I see it only as a beginning. This video, along with SAIJO MATSURI (vimeo.com/7458088) is just the start of a much larger project that I have now decided to do.

Anyone interested in helping fund/produce this dream of mine please feel free to contact me:

So I hope you enjoy this preview of what is to come in the future.

    "Hayaku" definition: Hurry up

Edit: A very big THANK YOU to all the amazing comments from everyone! It is a great feeling to have one's work appreciated and possibly to inspire. Domo Arigatou!
