The dedication of our supporters made it possible for 11,000 Nicaraguans to build their own wells, latrines, and stoves as well as reforest their watersheds and learn about managing their new resources. Here is a look at what our Nicaraguan partners accomplished in 2012.
Thank you to Mason United Methodist Church and Grace United Methodist Church for funding two recent projects! With your dedication, the community of Manchones in Wiwilí is enjoying a new well and the community of Ceiba in Terrabona has rehabilitated their well. This means clean water for a total of 24 families and 110 people! Thank you!
We would like to extend a special thank you to Flushing and Pleasant Union United Methodist Churches for their support of Quisaura, Camoapa, Nicaragua. With their support, 129 people and 30 families now have access to improved sanitation through the installation of double-pit latrines.
