Planet Green asked us to dream up a musical-driven concept to generate interest in their new series launch of the Fabulous Beekman Boys. The show centers around two New York city slickers who trade their city ways for a totally different life on a farm. We used our visual storytelling chops to create an entirely live action execution filled with choreography, technical scene changes and even farm animals!
Roger’s PSA for Planet Green takes the serious problem of shortening winter seasons and tells it in a graphic and lighthearted way. What happens when snowfall becomes thin? Mountains become more dangerous and it is common knowledge that when people fall on rocks they explode into a million colors – of course! Roger used many tools in their box – script writing, editorial and tons of rotoscoping to create a world where snow is replaced with illustrated piles of rocks.
We were intrigued when approached by Fox to do a refresh of the gripping series Fringe. Taking Fox's original style elements, Roger evolved the look into a mysterious package of shifting liquids, ink-spattered frogs and fragments of matter with amphibian like movements. The end result is a captivating package that demands notice of this provocative world. Special thanks to Justin Owens from Fox for providing amazing live action elements to work with!
Roger got the chance to let our Gleek flag fly when Fox asked us to create a promo for one of the most beloved shows on television. By incorporating show iconography and character footage with bold colors and typography, we delivered a promo that grabs the viewer’s attention while conveying Glee’s lighthearted, pop appeal.
