(sorry about the sound quality - this was using my laptops inbuilt mic., which is clearly rubbish)
First video I've made, and talking to yourself in an empty room is an odd experience...
Anyway, this describes some of the functionality of a Max patch I have written to enable the Native Mode of the Korg padKontrol, which for example allows control over the lights.
In this video I show functions of the knobs, encoder, and a few buttons, in Ableton Live (the Host I've initially written the program for).
This provides control of Arm, Solo, Record; Tranzport emulation (navigation, BPM control, Volume, Pan, Arrangement Loop, Sends); control of Sends via Mackie emulation; and control of plug-in macros (from Live 6 upwards) via Live's own in built generic remote setup.
I will produce another video that shows how the pads work (much as they do outside of Native Mode, with the ability to transpose individually, transpose all at once, and LED feedback from midi in your host), and perhaps a short video on how to set everything up.
