A five day Tape Art drawing performance as part of the fringe festival, Wellington, NZ. A cube that's installed in Civic Square becomes the layered canvas for a multi-layered layered narrative. Passersby are drawn in and onto the cube, as the layers are stripped away as more colourful and connected figures are revealed. The figures are also seen leaving the space, just after the entire mural is removed.
Created by Struan Ashby & Erica Duthie – Tape Art New Zealand.
Sponsored by Creative New Zealand Wellington City Creative Communities fund, the Public Art fund of Wellington City Council, Henkel-Sellotape NZ, Henshaw Signs and Capital Scaffolding.
