Live at Twin Earth | Season 1

  1. Episode 1: Leader Cheetah, Gold Bloom and Joe McKee

The Live At Twin Earth team gathered together some amazing talent from both Adelaide and beyond in presenting the debut episode of the season.

Leader Cheetah - one of Adelaide's best exports of the last few years, have been enjoying the successes of touring nationally with the likes of Belles Will Ring and Busby Marou, both in support and headline capacity. One of Rolling Stone Australia's 'Artists To Watch of 2012', lead vocalist Dan Crannitch and guitarist Dan Pash came in for an acoustic session and produced some beautiful moments of music.

  2. Episode 2: Hungry Kids of Hungary, Steering by Stars and Hurricanes

Live at Twin Earth presents another fantastic collection of sessions featuring talent from both the Adelaide and national touring circuit.

Hungry Kids of Hungary remain one of Australia's favourite touring bands. Steering By Stars are hardhitters on the Adelaide circuit in terms of stage presence and musicianship. The music the band produces epitomises the the perfect balance struck between dramatic atmosphere and intelligent lyricism. Touring for much of 2012 saw the band build up a killer live show and it's this vibe that sent shivers through the studio during their session.

The creative minds behind Optic Factory Productions, Ben Dring and Sam Steinle, have come together with Lachlan Wilson and Sose Fuamoli to produce a brand new series in 2013, "Live at Twin Earth".

With Adelaide playing host to a variety of touring artists, as well as being home to some excellent local talent, the Optic Factory team came up with the idea of hosting some music sessions of their own. In conjunction with Twin Earth Studio, the show aims to bring forth some special performances by both local and national touring acts, as well as some candid interviews with the musicians.
