This is a low-quality version of a video piece I did in Processing. It uses the Pointillism example sketch as a jumping-off point and adds some of my own tweaks. What you see in this are 3 different versions faded together using iMovie.

This is the first version of a Processing sketch I've been working on called (unsurprisingly) "many circles". I still have some stuff to work out; namely, how to get the lines to draw only to the edge of the circles instead of to the midpoint.
My wife and I worked out some of the math, but it makes my head hurt, so I haven't tried to implement it yet.
This is a sketch I did tonight in the fabulous processing environment, exploring the rotate and translate commands. I got inspired by reading about them in the Processing book by Ben Fry and Casey Reas - it's an excellent reference for the environment.
