Friday, April 26, 2013 saw the first test of the new footings at the Caledon Equestrian Park. Under the watchful gaze of Craig Collins of the Equestrian Management Group and FEI footings specialist Christian Bauer, local rider and Toronto 2015 hopeful Erynn Ballard of Looking Back Farm -- and a number of riders -- rode out on their horses and jumped. The Caledon Ontario Provincial Police detachment celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters on June 18, 2013. On hand to cut the ribbon were Mayor Marolyn Morrison and her Council, Inspector Rose DiMarco, Commissioner Chris Lewis, Regional Chair Emil Kolb, officers, staff and members of the public. Three students from Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School, and their art teacher, painted a special mural for the occasion.
