We work each day to ensure that our mission of “advocacy through industry” shapes each decision that we make at Apolis and we are humbled when we are so clearly reminded of why we do the work that we do. Today we’re thankful for what we think is one of our most exciting partnerships to date, our Ethiopia Project with Atelier Ace, the global creative group behind Ace Hotel. We’re excited for what the Apolis + Atelier Ace Gauze Scarf has already accomplished with our current advocacy impact and the long term potential in years to come.
The handloomed, organic cotton scarf, comes in three colors, Indigo Stripe, Light Indigo and Grey Check, and provides sustainable employment and a fair wage for a growing artisan cooperative of mothers in Addis Adaba, Ethiopia.
We’re very thankful for what we think is one of our most exciting partnerships to date, our Uganda project with Filson. We’re looking forward to releasing a film documenting the manufacturing process in their Seattle factory. We’ve been blown away with the new team that Filson has brought in with an incredible vision for the future and potentional that Filson has in the marketplace. We’re excited for what the Philanthropist Briefcase has already accomplished within the advocacy results and the longterm potntial in years to come.
The process of working with an iconic brand like J.Crew to create a limited run of swim trunks has been rewarding, as their team has an inspiring attention to detail and truly shares our philosophy that the best way to create lasting change is by investing in people. After all of the development and planning, we are proud to release two colors of our chambray swim trunk exclusively sold at J.Crew.
