Meet Nelson, Coupland, and Alice — the faces of tomorrow’s book. Watch global design and innovation consultancy IDEO’s vision for the future of the book. What new experiences might be created by linking diverse discussions, what additional value could be created by connected readers to one another, and what innovative ways we might use to tell our favorite stories and build community around books?
Theo and Emily of Design I/O discuss the process of prototyping and developing immersive, interactive environments. They dive into the technical and conceptual aspects of bringing an idea to life; from prototype to final experience. And they debut a new proto-type at Eyeo.

Title: Eni Carosello
Agency: TBWA Italia
Director: Hello, Savants!

TBWA asked Hello, Savants! to collaborate with the Milan street artist Nais to create four episodes, one minute each, for the new edition of the italian television advertising show “Carosello”.
The challenge was to deliver in less than two weeks an animated piece consistent with the old show language and imagery. With the old audio fairy tales in mind we decided to create an ethereal world and let the illustrations dye the subtly papercrafted city.
We teamed up with Leo Burnett to create a charming PSA for Ronald McDonald House Charities. The message of the piece is that things are better when they’re with the things they should be with – like a saltshaker with its pepper partner. Another necessary pairing is a family with their sick child undergoing medical treatment. RMHC is a non-profit organization that raises money so they can create housing for families to live close by, during a child’s stay in a hospital. In this project, we experimented with a handful of tactile mix-media styles to tell the story of RMHC’s 20 year history. The resulting piece was a great success that was shown at RMHC’s annual gala. It also made it to Cannes as part of the festival’s Official Selection.
