Severn Rivers Trust

Proposals have been made to build a barrage across the River Severn. In this short film the Severn Rivers Trust examines the experience of a barrage built across the River Rance in Brittany, France.

The film looks in detail at the effect on siltation in the tidal reaches of the Rance and interviews local mayors, scientists and environmentalists about their experiences on the Rance since the barrage was built.
