Jess edited this himself when he was visiting me in Mesa AZ many years ago. It's pretty sick stuff and shows a bunch of awesome Whiteriver skate spots that no longer exist. All the old schools have been bulldozed and replace with flat non skate friendly architecture. Needless to say the scene has taken a major hit, but there are still skate rats from a whole new generation out in the boonies and shadows. One day we will get it going again. :)
While on our way back from Fort Duchesne Utah we were passing back through Gallup heading to Arizona. Tony asked if we could stop by the 13 stair rail that Nathaniel did earlier this year. I didn't know what would go down, but Tony stepped up to battle the rail, and his little brother followed suit. This is a short documentary about those few moments spent watching the brothers do their thing while holding out breath because it was pretty gnar!
Thanks for support from the Ute Nation Tribal Wellness Center, we were able to travel to Utah to hold a demo and skate comp for the locals there. This is the skating that went down on our trip! We had an amazing time sharing good vibes with the locals and one another. It was truly a trip for the books! Thanks to Anthony Guzman of the Wellness Center for coordinating this and finding the support to make this all possible!
